His temperament was unsurpassed with high trainablity, excellent work ethic, and a calm demeanor. He had a reaching walk, powerful trot, and naturally balanced uphill canter. He competed through 4th level before tragically requiring euthanasia. He had excellent, typey form over fences.

Peabody has consistently passed on his trademark "perfect' temperament to his foals. Though still young, his progeny have amassed premium awards, breed show championships, and success through Prix St. Georges in the dressage arena! His son, Optimus, was licensed Oldenburg in 2019! Phantastique PST was the highest scoring foal of the 2021 Oldenburg inspection! He crosses very well with throroughbreds, for those wanting more modern type horses. His foals tend to be on the taller side.

Dominic possesed the docile, tractable temperament for which the Cleveland Bay breed is known. He had a floaty, reaching trot and very balanced canter, which combined with his well proportioned conformation makes him a superior stud for the Cleveland Bay Breed and a wonderful outcross for thoroughbred and warmblood breeding programs. Dominic had a very successful season at 2nd level, winning the Cleveland Bay Championship for 2nd level and Above in 2014. He was jumping 3' courses, and preparing for an eventing debut in 2015.. In the spring of 2015 Dominic was a guest of the Los Altos Hounds and impressed all with his mannerly behavior. It was great sadness that we lost our 'Big D' in the winter of 2016.
